6th February 2025 – Kampala, Uganda: Sharz Borderless Study Consults has today announced plans to host the first “Study In Canada” virtual education fair, targeting Ugandan students who want to study in Canada.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, 26th February 2025, at 2:00 PM (EAT).

This unique online event offers a unique opportunity to directly engage with students and parents exploring educational opportunities in Canada.

Educators who have been invited to attend include some of the leading universities in Canada, such as University of Windsor, North York Academy, Georgian College, Alexander College, College of New Caledonia (CNC), University of Northern British Colombia, Capilano University, Seneca Polytechnic, Douglas College and Thompson Rivers University.

“We’re leveraging our expertise in organizing physical events to give our partners from Canada an opportunity to interface with students cost-effectively,” said Ms Lilian Nayebare, the General Manager at Sharz Borderless Study Consults.

By participating in our Study in Canada Fair, partners can expect to engage directly with prospective students and parents, and we also see this as a platform to showcase their programs, admission opportunities and scholarships to an eager Ugandan audience.”

In 2024, Sharz hosted the its first Career Fair in Uganda, hosting more than 800 students over two days. But with the growth in Internet adoption in Uganda, the agency says it’s investing more in virtual events in order to give participating students more flexibility and convenience.

“Students want more flexibility – and this applies in the classroom as much as it applies in the process of enrolling to your favourite college. By organizing both physical and virtual events, this is what we’re facilitating,” noted Ms. Nayebare.

Sharz Borderless Study Consults (registered as Sharz Limited) is one of Uganda’s leading Education Placement agencies and has a wide array of partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and education partners from across the world.
