Yoweri Museveni, the blood-soaked dictator who has suffocated Uganda for nearly four decades, is at it again—fabricating treason charges against Dr. Kizza Besigye, the one man he fears the most. Museveni, a shameless tyrant who rules with guns and terror, has turned Uganda into his private slaughterhouse, where anyone who dares challenge him is arrested, tortured, or killed. Now, in his latest desperate act, he has cooked up another laughable treason case to silence Besigye, a true patriot who has refused to bow before the devil.
For years, Museveni has stolen elections, emptied the country’s coffers, and spilled the blood of innocent Ugandans just to cling to power. He has robbed the nation blind while his family and cronies feast on stolen wealth. His police and army, nothing more than his personal death squads, kidnap, torture, and execute those who demand justice. But Besigye, fearless and unshaken, has stood against this beast, facing beatings, arrests, and endless persecution, yet never backing down.
Now, the regime is peddling another ridiculous charge sheet, claiming that Besigye and Hajji Obeid Lutale conspired to overthrow the government from Geneva, Athens, and Nairobi. This is the height of insanity. Museveni, a paranoid coward hiding behind his military, expects Ugandans to believe that a retired colonel and medical doctor is plotting war from European capitals. If this were not such a tragic abuse of power, it would be the biggest joke of the century.
The regime initially accused Besigye of possessing firearms—a cheap lie they couldn’t sustain. Realizing their blunder, they settled for their favourite weapon: treason charges. Museveni’s kangaroo courts have used the same tactic against Bobi Wine, FDC activists, and countless innocent Ugandans who dared to speak the truth. This is his playbook: slap trumped-up charges, jail his opponents, and use the courts as tools of oppression.
But even the devil knows his time is short. Museveni’s house of cards is collapsing. His corrupt empire is drowning in debt, the economy is crumbling, hospitals are graveyards, schools are in ruins, and Ugandan youth are drowning in hopelessness. He has built his kingdom on fear, but fear is losing its power. Ugandans are waking up. They see through his lies, his tricks, and his brutality. And they know the truth: Museveni is the real criminal, the chief traitor who betrayed Uganda for his own greed.
Besigye, on the other hand, is the people’s champion, a man of honour and courage who refuses to kneel before the devil. He has been beaten, jailed, poisoned, and humiliated, yet he remains unbroken. Museveni may use his guns and prisons, but he will never crush the spirit of Besigye or the Ugandan people. The dictator’s days are numbered, and when the tide turns, Museveni and his gang of thieves will meet the justice they have long evaded. Uganda will rise again.
