Covenant Nations Church, under the foul and despicable leadership of Patience Rwabwogo Museveni, has devolved into a revolting cesspool of greed, deceit, and spiritual decay. This institution, once masquerading as a house of worship, now reeks of the most appalling sin and moral filth. It stands as a glaring testament to the sickening extent to which a supposed sanctuary of God can be corrupted when it sells its soul to the devil’s handmaidens in power.
This so-called church has become a breeding ground for the vilest forms of hypocrisy and sin. Spiritual growth has been utterly annihilated, replaced by a culture where corruption and greed are not only tolerated but actively encouraged. The congregation, once perhaps seeking genuine spiritual nourishment, has been reduced to a mindless herd, blindly following a leadership more interested in pandering to the Museveni regime than in nurturing any semblance of real faith. As 2 Timothy 3:5 warns, they have “a form of godliness but deny its power.” The church has exchanged the life-giving power of the Gospel for the empty promises of a counterfeit faith that demands nothing and delivers only poison.
The doctrine at Covenant Nations has been twisted and perverted to serve the filthy ambitions of the Museveni family. What should be a beacon of truth has become a rancid swamp of lies and unholy propaganda. Patience Rwabwogo has transformed this so-called church into a disgusting tool for her family’s political agenda, sacrificing every last shred of biblical integrity to maintain her corrupt and slimy grip on power. The Gospel, which should be the “truth that sets you free” (John 8:32), has instead been mutated into a weapon of manipulation, enslaving the souls of the congregation to a regime of wickedness.
But the corruption doesn’t stop at the pulpit. Patience Rwabwogo has been using this church as her personal piggy bank, stealing money from unsuspecting donors and funneling it directly into the business ventures of her equally deceitful husband, Odrek Rwabwogo. In a sickening display of greed and ambition, Patience has concocted so-called “missions” that are nothing more than fundraising scams. These missions, supposedly designed to spread the Gospel, are actually a front for Odrek’s ambitions to become the next president of Uganda. Money is collected under the guise of “ministry,” but instead of funding genuine crusades, it is funneled into the business schemes of the Rwabwogo family.
These so-called missions are nothing but a charade. Instead of holding real crusades to preach the Gospel, the Rwabwogos invite other government puppet pastors like Bunjjo, so called Apostle Batambuze, Alex Mitala and Joshua Lwere to preach. These sham events are merely a platform for Odrek Rwabwogo to spew his NRM propaganda, indoctrinating the crowds with the lies of the Museveni regime. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, the final day of these pathetic spectacles is reserved for none other than Museveni himself, who delivers a self-serving speech that has nothing to do with God and everything to do with maintaining his iron grip on power.
The rot within Covenant Nations Church doesn’t end with the leadership duo. The Church Administrator, Jean Namara, embodies the moral decay that plagues this church. Jean has been involved in scandalous relationships with young boys from the congregation, flaunting her immorality with impunity. First, she preyed on a young man named Michael, and when her illicit affair resulted in pregnancy, she resorted to the most heinous of acts—abortion. When Michael confronted her and begged her not to go through with it, she plotted to silence him. In an act of sheer brutality, she orchestrated an attack, pouring petrol on him in a bid to burn him alive. By some miracle, he survived, but the scar of that ordeal remains a testament to the sheer evil that courses through Jean’s veins.
Not long after, Jean took up with another young man, Messarch, following the same destructive pattern. When she found herself pregnant again, she once more chose the path of murder, arranging an abortion at Bethany Medical Center, a so-called “Christian” facility that has, by its actions, shown it too is complicit in the depravity that defines Covenant Nations Church.
Worship at Covenant Nations has become a grotesque, blasphemous performance, designed not to glorify God but to glorify the filthy ambitions of the Museveni clan. The worshipers are nothing more than actors in a sickening charade, their hearts as empty as the promises spewed from the pulpit. As Jesus said in Matthew 15:8, “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”
This church is not just backsliding; it is plummeting headlong into the depths of spiritual death. Covenant Nations Church is a putrid stain on the Christian faith, a hideous mockery of what the Church of Christ should be. The Holy Spirit, once the life force of any true church, has long since abandoned this wretched place, leaving it a hollow shell—a disgusting social club for the morally bankrupt. As Revelation 3:16 warns, “So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” This church is destined for destruction, dragging countless souls down with it into the abyss of damnation.
