Uganda’s political scene has been overrun by self-serving vultures like Erias Lukwago and Patrick Amuriat, whose rabid greed and treacherous behavior have turned the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) into a cesspool of corruption and betrayal. These two vile creatures, pretending to fight for democracy, are nothing more than bloodsuckers, feasting on the remnants of what was once a powerful opposition party. Their disgusting ambition knows no bounds, and their reckless power grab has only deepened the rot within FDC, driving it to the brink of total collapse.
Lukwago, the worst kind of political scumbag, is a shameless opportunist who hops from one party to another, leaving destruction in his wake. From his pathetic beginnings in the Democratic Party to his current stint with the FDC, Lukwago’s track record is a sickening tale of deceit, betrayal, and raw, unchecked greed. This political prostitute will sell out anyone and anything for a taste of power. His so-called “leadership” is nothing but a parasitic drain, sucking the life out of every party he attaches himself to before slithering away when his dirty work is done.
Then there’s Patrick Amuriat, a spineless coward who has steered the FDC straight into the gutter. Once promising to elevate the party, he has instead orchestrated its rapid decline, turning it into a national joke. His leadership is a toxic mix of incompetence and treachery, making the party a laughingstock on Uganda’s political stage. Amuriat’s pathetic squabbles with the Katonga faction, led by Ibrahim Semujju Nganda, are just the latest chapter in his disastrous reign. His baseless, desperate accusations against Dr. Kizza Besigye and Lukwago regarding the sale of party properties only highlight his utter lack of integrity.
The FDC, once a symbol of hope and resistance, has been gutted by these two parasites. Rather than uniting against the real enemy—President Museveni’s oppressive regime—these traitors are busy tearing each other apart for their own gain. Amuriat’s disastrous leadership has plunged the party into chaos, where personal vendettas take precedence over the people’s struggles. Lukwago and Amuriat’s shameless actions are a disgrace, a painful reminder of how Uganda’s opposition has been crippled from within by those who claim to champion it.
This grotesque power struggle is more than just a tragedy for the FDC—it is a sickening display of how personal greed and betrayal can destroy even the strongest of movements. Lukwago and Amuriat have left behind a trail of broken promises, shattered hopes, and ruined dreams, leaving Uganda’s political landscape all the poorer for their despicable presence.
