Police Arrest 15 Suspected Criminals in Intelligence-Led Operation

In response to the recent increase in reported criminal activities, the territorial police at Kira Division have successfully carried out an intelligence-led operation today, resulting in the arrest of 15 suspected hardcore criminals.

The operation took place in Nsawo Zone, Kyaliwajala Ward, Namugongo Division, Wakiso District.

The suspects arrested have been identified as follows: Syino Michael, Katumba Ashraf alias Cobler (a known serial offender), Esere Hassan, Olowo Abeneko, Kasoma Emmanuel, Safari Yona, Bukenya Mudasiru, Mudu Salim, Sekandi Mustafa, Kikawa Stanley, Kabuye Ronald, Vumbi Enock, Nuwe John, Benjamin Sali and Kyasanku Godfrey.

During the operation, suspected narcotic substances and house-breaking implements were recovered.

“More details will be provided as soon as possible. These operations are part of our ongoing efforts to ensure security as we gear up for the celebrations of Martyrs Day,” said ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer, Kampala Metropolitan Police.
