My Editor in Uganda reminds me of my late brother James.

Editor can’t add or subtract. I doubt he can do square roots! One time, he called me at 10:00 Uganda time (4:00 AST) hissing about why I hadn’t posted the 28 stories he had sent me in the night (my time). I told him that I am still sleeping. I am 6hrs behind Uganda. Oohhh. Okay, go back to sleep.

Three weeks pass by and he calls me at 8:00AM (2:00AM AST saying “Leah, breaking story, grab your laptop”. So, I go “Did you get F9 in Maths & Geography?”

HIM: Actually, I got a D1 in Geography and a D2 in Mathematics. I laughed, laughed and laughed. I am still laughing. The irony!!!
