There is nothing wrong with our kids. Cut the kids some slack.

I am a very proud mother of 4 daughters. Two of them are Millenials. Two are Gen Z. Personally, I am Gen X.

Lately, some Boomers are hitting at Genzies and Millenials about how they are lazy (the kids) and how they are not pulling their weight.

As a mother of both generations and now a grandma of Gen Alpha…. please, people, take a chill pill. These kids survived the 2008 Financial crisis when they were just but babies. These kids suffered the Covid Pandemic Lockdown and had to learn online or not learn and even the ones who stayed at University were locked up in their dorms or apartments because of a Pandemic.

So, after forcing kids to learn online and locked up in their dorms or apartments, you now ask them to return to office. Were you there when they were isolated from Gen X and Boomers to learn in person? These kids have grown up on Mac Books, iPhones and Samsung. So now, you want them to do what? All those 3 years of lockdowns, you did not think it would come back to bite. These kids had no going to the beach, concert, cinema, kid parties…. AND now you expect them to come to the office and be Employees,,,, They have a life and they are the next leaders. THEREFORE, if you hire a GenZie and you see them on their iPhone, be gentle. These kids have survived a lot more than what our parents’ generation survived during the Spanish Flu, during WWI, during the Great Depression, the Vietnam War….

What was done to our children is unforgivable. I am gonna join every Class Lawsuit that sues the Government of Canada for the horror Justin Trudeau and his government inflicted on my children and my family. I will join all the parents whose kids fell through the cracks. I will join all the people who lost their jobs and are struggling. COVID-19 ruined billions of lives and people now complain about Genzies and Millenials as if these young people popped out of no where. How dare you say that the kids are not serious about Office Manners when you had them learning on their laptops at school, without teachers…learning alone. To think, why were we paying tuition to universities? Universities should refund all the money we paid when our kids were learning online. **I am livid**

I will add more….
