KCCA Football Club has officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa, who has committed to a contract with the club until the conclusion of the 2023–24 season.
This acquisition marks the inaugural signing for the club in the mid-season transfer window, and it comes on the heels of Emmanuel Wasswa’s return from his loan spell at Express.
Mugolofa becomes the fourth goalkeeper to join KCCA FC for the 2023-24 season, adding depth to the squad and providing competition alongside Derrick Ochan, Anthony Emojong, and Juma Mutebi.
A graduate of the FUFA Juniors League, Mugolofa spent the first round of the season with Jinja North FC. Prior to joining KCCA FC, he has gained experience with Mbarara City FC and Vipers SC.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the move, Mugolofa stated, “I am happy to be here. I set personal goals for myself this year, and among them was a determination to return to my very best. KCCA FC offers me an opportunity, and I am here to compete with the other talented goalkeepers at the club. I am impressed with the club’s philosophy, and I cannot wait to kick off the second round when it resumes,” as he shared with the KCCA Website.
His contract includes a provision for potential extension at the conclusion of the 2023–24 season. Mugolofa will wear shirt number 28 at KCCA FC and is authorized to participate in all competitions on behalf of the club.
