Eddy Kikonyogo, 30, a city businessman based in Bwaise has set a new record having won Shs 397.9 Million from BetPawa, an international gambling company, making him the second biggest winner in Africa at betpawa.
Kikonyogo won a total sum of Shs 397,976,060 after playing a casino game aviator on the betPawa platform with only Shs 2,000.
He says he opted for the aviator game after realising that there was a high possibility of winning so much more compared to other games.
“I have been placing football bets but when I discovered aviator, I realised there was a possibility of winning a lot of money within a very short time,”he said.
Recounting his winning experience, Kikonyogo said he was discouraged by some of his friends he had moved from playing further but he persisted.
“When I played, I was in the company of my friends who were asking me repeatedly to cashout by stopping the plane but I stood my ground to the point where I froze in disbelief when I saw the amount by which my stake had multiplied,”he said.

Kikonyogo’s win comes two months after aviator maker Spribe certified a BetPawa customer from Ghana called Fuseini as the highest winner ever in Africa. Fuseini won Shs 1.89 Billion on the casino game.
