Brace hero Isaac Ogwang (Blue) wiggling through two markers in the round of 32 clash

• Busei FC 0-3 Police FC

On-form talisman Isaac Ogwang starred with a brace, as Police FC ascended to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 with an easy win at Busei away in Iganga on Thursday.

The Teso Province striker netted a goal in either half, before Eragu Gabriel iced on the cake with a sublime finish to enable last season’s runners up to progress further in style.

Isaac Ogwang broke the deadlock after 43 minutes with a stunning finish from a close-range-rebound, after the keeper saved back Emmanuel Mugume’s attempt back into play.

Ogwang again doubled the lead against a run of play when he raced on a through ball and clinically placed it on the far post beyond the keeper’s reach.

At 69 minutes, Eragu Gabriel made substitute Reagan Male’s assist count when the former sprinted k from the opposite side’s box and setup the latter, who tapped home with ease, to break his scoring jinx.

Police joins Vipers Sports Club and Young Simba, which also made it to last 16 via penalty shoot-outs.
