Today is our first day of tapping the trees. It was brutally cold this morning (-24c) so we just started now because the temperature has risen to -5c.

Now, we have to collect 80 litres of sap before we start boiling (40 litres of sap make only 1 litre of Maple Syrup).

We’re staring with the trees in the back and front yard them tomorrow, we will go into the forest. We pile all the equipment on the Snowmobile then go tree by tree. Check out my FB for photos.
