Uganda U20 Women’s National Team (Queen Cranes) head coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes has named provisional squad of 48 players to start preparations for the 2023 All Africa Games slated for next month in Accra, Ghana.
The team summoned will enter residential camp today, Monday, 19th February 2024, at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisaasi.
The Women’s Tournament will consider the age as applied during the qualifiers of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022.
According to FUFA, the upper age limit will allow players born on or after 1st January 2002, while the lower age limit allows players born on or before 31st December 2006.
Uganda was placed in the same group with Ethiopia, Tanzania and hosts Ghana.
The tournament will take place between 8th – 24th March in Accra, Ghana.
