By CHANGE OF GUARDS

The scare of terrorist attacks by the  so-called ADF rebel group, more especially in Kampala city, has become the norm.  The Museveni regime has consistently attributed occasional bomb explosions and mysterious assassinations to the said ADF. Museveni’s regime has always used this scare to curtail the freedom of movement and assembly of the political opposition players. Evidently, the scare level rises with the surge in political activism. Whenever the opposition expresses intention of mass mobilisation, the regime comes up with terror alerts or bomb scares by the ADF. However, recently, Ugandans  have witnessed several incidents in the city where the so-called ADF bombs have been diffused before exploding. Gradually, the terror scare has diminished from Kampala city to 300km westwards to Kamwenge. On two occasions in one week, the so-called ADF has killed about five ordinary citizens in the same area. At the moment, Kampala city is enjoying relative stability free of the ADF terrorist attacks scare.

Kampala city is hosting three international conferences during the month of January 2024. The Commonwealth Speakers Conference runs from 3rd to 6th. The NAM conference runs from 15th to 20th and attracts delegates from 120 countries.  The G77 and China conference runs from 21st to 23rd.

Tweeting over the same conferences on November 19, 2024, Museveni said:
“Uganda is prepared to showcase its hospitality and contribute to a successful summit.”

Driven by patriotism and mindful of the need to protect the image of the country, the so-called ADF has temporarily suspended operations in Kampala city. However, once the said conferences will have been successfully hosted,  the so-called ADF will resume operations in Kampala city.

Foretold is forewarned.

INFORMATION IS POWER AND THE PROBLEM OF UGANDA IS MUSEVENISM
