Prominent Ugandan Pastor and businessman, Aloysius Bugingo has reportedly been shot in Kampala.

It is alleged Bugingo was being chauffeured to his residence when he was attacked by gunmen in Mulago, Kawempe Division.

Details remain scanty.

However, police officials said Bugingo was rushed to Mulago National Referral Hospital on Tuesday night.

“He is being treated at Mulago,” said a source, adding, “We are trying to get all the facts of what happened today.”

Bugingo is the Director of Salt Media Group of Companies, and a church in Makerere, Kikoni, Kampala, the House of Prayer Ministries International (also known as Canaan land).
