Bahrain’s Balew Birhanu secured the second position with a time of 26 minutes and 59 seconds, while Kenya’s Peter Mwaniki Aila finished third in 27 minutes.

Kiplimo expressed satisfaction with the win and looks forward to advancing in his training for major athletics events in 2024, including the World Cross Country and the Olympics. Another Ugandan runner, Rogers Kibet, finished in the 8th position with a time of 27 minutes and 35 seconds. In the women’s category, Joy Cheptoyek secured the 5th position, completing the race in 30 minutes and 12 seconds. The women’s race was won by Kenya’s Agnes Chebet.
