RI..P: Dr. James Sekajugo.

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has announced the passing of Dr. James Sekajugo. Sekajugo served as chairman of FUFA Normalisation Committee in 2005 and was also Uganda Cranes team doctor for years. Reports indicate that his body was discovered at his residence in Bugolobi, a high-end suburb of Kampala, on Friday.

“We extend our commiserations to his family, friends and the football fraternity at large,” FUFA said in a post on X.

Barely 48 hours earlier, FUFA announced “the passing on of Esther Musoke that occurred today (on Thursday) evening at Mengo Hospital.“

Musoke served as the FUFA Marketing Director between 2014–2022.

“She played a key role in growing the brand value of FUFA hence attracting several sponsors and partners,” said FUFA.
