Traffic Operation: Buses, drones, school costas impounded, drivers arrested

Kananura said that the operations against reckless driving, in a bid to secure the festive season, will continue.

The Directorate of Traffic & Road Safety has in several operations impounded over 20 non-passenger vehicles and arrested drivers.

This was in an operation targeting motor vehicles carrying passengers yet are without PSV licenses.

SP Kananura Michael, the Spokesperson, Traffic & Road Safety, said in a statement Sunday that the Directorate has intensified the operations.

“More than 10 drones, 10 school costas and 2 school buses have been impounded and drivers arrested,” he said.

He said that the operations against reckless driving, in a bid to secure the festive season, will continue.

Kananura urged the public to continue reporting all traffic violations on 0800199099.
