GAZA | Xinhua | The death toll of Palestinians from Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has reportedly reached 19,667, with 52,586 others wounded since Oct. 7, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry’s statement on Tuesday.

In the West Bank, Palestinian casualties resulting from Israeli raids have risen to 301 deaths and 3,365 injuries, as per the ministry’s data.

Over the past 24 hours in Gaza, 214 Palestinians were killed and 300 others injured in Israel’s raids, according to Ashraf Al-Qedra, the Health Ministry spokesman. Al-Qedra claimed that the Israeli army destroyed hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, rendering them unusable, and expressed concern that this would displace 800,000 people, depriving thousands of access to health services, particularly wounded individuals, pregnant women, children, and chronic patients.

Furthermore, Al-Qedra highlighted the challenges faced by hospitals in southern Gaza, describing them as “powerless” due to the overwhelming number of infections. He emphasized their efforts to prioritize cases and save lives with limited clinical, medical, and human resources.

Al-Qedra accused Israel of launching a large-scale war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 in response to an unprecedented attack by Hamas on southern Israel. Israeli authorities claim that around 1,200 Israelis lost their lives in this attack.
