Uganda’s national shame continues to unfold, with the sickening stench of corruption at the Lubowa Hospital project reaching unbearable levels. At the center of this scandal is Margret Muhanga, a puppet of Museveni’s regime, and her Mafia Queen ally, Enrica Pinetti. For over four years, this incomplete “specialized hospital” has been a cesspool of fraud and deceit, with more than Shs700 billion of taxpayer money siphoned off into the pockets of these ruthless thieves. What was supposed to be a state-of-the-art medical facility has turned into a glaring monument to Uganda’s kleptocracy.

Margret Muhanga, with all the arrogance of a seasoned con artist, continues to insult the intelligence of Ugandans by parading around the unfinished hospital site. Recently, she had the gall to post photos showing so-called “serious construction activities,” but this sudden burst of activity is nothing more than a cheap stunt to buy time and pacify the growing outrage. For four years, the hospital site has been nothing but a foundation surrounded by overgrown bushes, with zero progress made. Parliament has blindly funneled billions into this ghost project, while Muhanga and her cronies laugh all the way to the bank.

And then there’s Enrica Pinetti, the real Mafia Queen pulling the strings behind the scenes. This so-called “investor” is nothing but a foreign gangster who has conned her way into Uganda’s richest deals. With her Italian accent and false promises, she has masterminded one of the largest financial heists in the country’s history. Pinetti, backed by Museveni’s corrupt regime, has been blocking every attempt by legislators to inspect the site, using the UPDF and police to keep them at bay. The recent COSASE committee’s visit, conveniently suspended under the absurd excuse of “lack of protective gear,” was nothing but another smokescreen to hide the truth.

The truth is out, and every Ugandan knows it. The delays and blocked inspections were never about safety; they were about covering up the theft of billions of shillings. What happened to all the money that was supposed to build Lubowa Hospital? The answer is obvious—it’s lining the pockets of Museveni’s criminal inner circle. Meanwhile, ordinary Ugandans are dying in underfunded public hospitals that are falling apart. The people of Uganda are being robbed in broad daylight by these heartless criminals, who have no regard for the suffering of the nation.

Margret Muhanga and her Mafia Queen, Enrica Pinetti, have betrayed the trust of every Ugandan. They have spat in the faces of those who believed that this hospital would bring relief to Uganda’s collapsing healthcare system. Their laughable promise that the hospital will “partially open” in 2025 is just another desperate attempt to stall for time while they continue to loot the country. It is an insult to every Ugandan struggling to get basic medical care in overcrowded and underfunded hospitals.

Lubowa Hospital is not just an incomplete project; it is the epitome of Uganda’s institutional corruption. Muhanga, Pinetti, and their fellow thieves may try to cover up their crimes with hastily built walls, but they cannot hide the truth. Lubowa Hospital is a disgrace, a symbol of everything that is wrong with Museveni’s regime, and a reminder that Uganda is being held hostage by a Mafia cartel masquerading as a government. The Mafia Queen and her corrupt puppets must be held accountable for this national disaster.
