By CHANGE OF GUARDS

Here’s the edited version of the article:

Justifying the November 2020 cold-blooded killing of over 50 people in Kampala by Museveni’s army, the then Minister of Security, Gen. Elly Tumwine had this to say: “The police have the right to shoot and kill if violence reaches a certain level. I can repeat: the police have the right to shoot, and if you die, it’s for nothing.” – Gen. Tumwine, November 2020.

Earlier, while appearing before the Parliamentary Committee of Rules, Discipline, and Privileges over his assault of fellow legislator Hon. Cecilia Ogwal in 2019, he made the following statement: “You know how much we have sacrificed. Yet, it’s indisputable that we brought about this era of free discussion. I have one eye. What was it for? So, anyone who accuses or speaks of our sacrifices as an accusation should withdraw it.” – Gen. Tumwine, 2019.
