Gen. Muhoozi’s visit was in honor of the Late’s contribution towards Uganda’s independence.

The Senior Presidential Adviser for Special Operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, on Saturday paid tribute to the late John Kale for his contributions to the fight for Uganda’s independence. John Kale was the father of former IGP, Gen. Rtd. Kale Kayihura. Gen. Kainerugaba, accompanied by his wife, Charlotte, laid a wreath on the late Kale’s grave. The senior army officer was later briefed about the circumstances of Late’s death and burial.

Gen. Muhoozi also extended greetings to the extended family of Gen. Kayihura before returning to Kampala.

Gen. Kainerugaba visited Kisoro to attend the traditional wedding function (Gusaba) of Gen. Rtd. Kale Kayihura’s daughter.

He continues to hold development-oriented meetings in the district.

For instance, he held a meeting with leaders of Kisoro District, including the Ministers, LCV Chairman, and area MPs. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues affecting the district.

The General departed for Kampala on Sunday.
