Gov’t to spend 1.5Bn shs on handicraft development centers
The Ministry of Tourism says construction of 3 major Handicraft development centres across the country is expected to start in the new Financial Year 2021/2022. With an estimated cost of 1.5billion Shillings for each of the centres, the 1st will be located near Murchison Falls National Park. It will provide machinery and equipment needed to support high-grade production of art and craft pieces.
