Our People ‘s President HE Rtd Col Dr Kizza Besigye Kifefe joined our candidate on his last campaign leg for the highest office of the land only to be circumvented by the NRM regime Police which fired tear gas at the peaceful, enthusiastic and jubilant Makerere University students who were welcoming their President Dr Besigye with joy and love.

I am very much humbled and convinced with the zeal, commitment and total support I have personally witnessed today .indeed it’s a clear manifestation that the FDC ‘s Kato Paul is destined to be the 83rd Guild President of Makerere come tomorrow Insha Allah. Kato Paul is a second year student pursuing bachelor’s degree in education and he resides in Mitchell Hall.

The FDC National Youth League leadership has been fully represented today as we saw history being made;  Chairman Idd Ouma, Our General secretary Ms Joan Alobo Achom, Our Treasurer Mr Izat Khan, Our secretary for education, students affairs and sports Mr Kayanja Thomas and you’rs truly, were in full attendance.

Walid Lubega is the FDC youth chairman Buganda region
