Many NRM supporters accuse others of tribalism but they believe that only candidates from their region should win elections and the election of POA who is from the Eastern part of the country has left NRM supporters furious and in a state of confusion and shock.

The one party man’s show NRM has been left in shock as their favorite candidate Mugisha Muntu was defeated in the FDC elections.

The majorities of people stung the most are from NRM supporters and this should be a concern to the FDC members.

This loss has been so painful to Museveni’s royalist and some of them have opened their doors to entice Mugisha Muntu back to NRM one man’s party. Mugisha Muntu would be ill advised to go back to NRM as he will never and again ever even try to challenge dictator Museveni.

Many Museveni supporters blamed Dr. Besigye for not accepting defeat after the serial election winner in Museveni won the elections through questionable election malpractice aided by Dr. Kigunddu.

There have been many rumors that Mugisha Muntu was a mole for NRM and the pain and agony that is felt in NRM is proof that something was going on more than meets the eyes, when Muntu was the president of FDC.

My concern with Mugisha Muntu as president of FDC has nothing to do with his place of origin or his tribe but not being seen enough to do more for the party.

Muntu never publicly participated or spoke against police brutality that was directed towards FDC supporters. He has been missing in action in the constitutional amendment struggles.

He has not condemned in the strongest term the way the policemen handled those opposed to the amendments and surely was not vocal in condemning the shooting death of a young man in Mbarara.

FDC had boycotted the election of Museveni and many countries had refused to recognize the Museveni’s government and even some diplomats walked off at Museveni’s swearing in ceremony.

When Dr. Busigye was in prison after being arrested on the day of the elections, Mugisha Muntu went ahead and appointed the shadow cabinet which in away recognized Museveni’s election as legitimate. The party should have one voice and one voice only.

One thing for sure is that if Muntu decides to go back to NRM, his ambitions of becoming an NRM chair, cannot come to pass and if he dared to go after Museveni, supporters of his would attack him like porano finishes.

[11-26, 1:38 PM] Martha Leah Nangalama: Why is it that protesting the fucked up way in which FDC pulled the wool over the eyes of Ugandans means we do no like POA..we are tribalistic and we are NRM? I take offense to what Span and many are saying.

It is public knowledge that I have always been one of Besigye’s biggest supporters.

You will not find any Ugandan who has written more about Besigye and his work than me. NO ONE.

But the price will be high. Defections are already underway.

[11-26, 1:45 PM] Span: Martha my article is directed at NRM supporters nobody else. 90% of the people strongly opposed to the election of POA are NRM members and some of them have told it straight to my face that no single individual can ever hold power in Uganda except one from the Western part of the country.

My opposition to MM is that he has not done enough publicly for the party and am not alone in this.

FDC has been split into two camps which Museveni wanted. My article is in response to NRM individuals who believe that power belongs to one region of the country but never to my comrade General Martha
