Sand Cranes squad out to face Ivory Coast
KAMPALA (@UG_EDGE) – Uganda Sand Cranes squad of 20 players were released by new head coach Salim Muwonge in a press Conference at FUFA House on Monday morning to begin training ahead of AFCON Beach Soccer qualifier match against Ivory Coast on 9th September 2018.
Players: Lule Paul (Buganda Royal Institute), Katwe Allan (Nkumba University), Ochero Sulaiman (St. Lawrence University), Revita Johnney (Isabet), Douglas Muganga and Byaruhanga Rica from Isabet.
Kalyowa Emma (St. Lawrence University), Kityo Eddie (Galaticals), Kiggundu Swalley (St. Lawrence University), Magwari Ronald (Stomers), Bomboka Frank (MUBS), Kakwaya Swaib (Isabet), Kafeero Hamis (Galaticals), Lwesibawa Godfrey (Stomers), Ochen Ben (MUBS) and Somoka Roch (Isabet).
The team summoned players begun non-residential training on Wednesday 22nd August. Residential training will start on 1st September 2018.
Uganda Beach Soccer Association Chairman Deo Mutabazi confirmed the technical team that will work with Head coach Muwonge.
He listed Sseguya Peter as the assistant Coach, Ssebaggala Tonny ( Team Coordinator), Ssekasanvu Julius (Kits man) and ithum Aduny Codian (Medical Officer).
