Forestry authority partners with the private sector to restore forests

The National Forestry Authority and Rotaract have partnered to restore eight hectares of Namatale Central Forest Reserve in Mbale district, whose existence is at stake. Francis Adule, the Country Project Chairperson Rotaract Uganda says the project began in 2015 and he plan is to plant 10m trees by 2020 to reverse the climate change impacts and address food security, primary health care, and sustainable environment services.
