Patient rejects being treated by UPDF due to Kasese genocide
“I’d rather die than be treated by a murderer”
Shock as Mulago patient rejects being treated by a UPDF soldier following the re-echoing “ugly past” of the Kasese November massacres where the soldiers played a huge part in silencing hundreds of civilians with their triggers.
The scared patient who preferred anonymity told our reporter that there’s no way he could allow a soldier to lay his hands on him, he’d rather retire to home and die there instead.
This comes at a time when doctors are still in their salary strike accusing government of turning a deaf ear to their problems but instead respond positively to “irrelevant” issues like the pending age limit bill which was welcomed with a massive funding of shs13b to facilitate those trading it.
Important to note however is that while addressing a rally yesterday in Kabarole district, the president vowed to arrest all medical workers that are engaging in the strike, saying that this is too unpatriotic an act since they have oaths of professionalism to abide by.
