Food basket on Equator cannot feed people
Have dinner with a ugandan born and bred in the republic and you will realize that not many Ugandans have had a chance of eating a full course meal.
Uganda has too much food for the most part and too little food in other regions. Despite the two extremes, most table manners seem to cut across the whole republic.
Ugandans eat everything before them and will always eat meat last. Meat is a scarce delicacy that is quite expensive and not readily available even for the slightly bellow average folk.
If you pay attention, you will realize that Ugandans subconsciously save the best for last something that stems from most of their childhood and upbringing.
It happens when you grow up from a humble family (replace “humble with “poor) eating meat only at parties and special days like christmas and Easter.
