UGANDA: We are the world – song about Ethiopia during famine (VIDEO)
MARTHA LEAH NANGALAMA – Hopefully some of these artists are still alive and will soon record a song for Uganda. We will need it. After the locusts, you will be all hungry with skiny bones with ribs protruding out of your sides and selling your kids for a meal a day.
I imagine the song will be something like “We are the world, We are Uganda”. I can imagine Stevie Wonder doing a nice one in this song. Of course the song will be produced by Sir Elton John and Quincy Jones. We might even get U2 and UB4 to sing in it. What a hoot it would be to get Bruce Springsteen and Cory Hart. Cory Hart must be in this show.
We will need some Ugandan artists. This will speak very loud. I was thinking only Eddy Kenzo and Alexander Bagonza. Don’t you be bringing no Rema or Chameleon or any of those Tubonga Nawe people. Nantongo and Hilderman. Also Eddy Yawe. I think Nince Henry too. But certainly no Tubonga nawe artists. Those people are traitors to our cause. In fact, even that Big Eye and Kusasira. Tubaganye already. Bobi Wine will rock it. Oh yes man.
Then, of course President Yoweri Museveni will get all the money and eat. Such a lost cause I tell you people.
