Probably Karamoja is worried about the locusts invasion, foreseeing a hard time for a region already beaten by weather, neglect from government and political instability.
The scientists are pondering how to deal with this invasion without risking lives and reduce the impact to humanity.
The leaders in Karamoja are pondering the next move to save the situation.
As all this goes on, the Ugandans in rich regions have got something to kill their boredom with memes, jokes and total indifference.
And typical of Uganda, there is someone in one of the top offices who is celebrating that the locust are finally here.
When the drama ends and the locusts are long gone and the Karimojongs are dying of hunger or food poisoning, courtesy of FAO food, there will be a winner; the ministry through which response was channeled. People in there will have bought lands, houses and big vehicles.
