New App to allow victims of sexual abuse report discreetly

Police reports indicate that during the lockdown cases of defilement and sexual violence against adolescents and young people have gone up. While there are many reasons being offered to explain this increase in cases, the fact that children have been out of school and at home for six months cannot be ignored. In a bid to tackle the rise in cases of abuse, the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has launched a mobile phone app to make it easier for victims discreetly report cases of sexual abuse. The app offers access to different agencies and organisations that offer a wide range of services. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
