The photos are from today, February 17, 2020. I took them off our front porch facing onto Route 132. We have a long driveway so I usually stand back here and take photos of what lies ahead of our home.

My newest client called me at 2:00AM my time. It was 9am his time in Uganda. Customer comes first. While talking to him and writing his campaign propaganda, I kept going outside to watch the sun arise. And what an amazing thing to watch the sun rise and the sky light up.

My client got a 9 in Maths for his O’levels (UCE) so there is no hope in teaching how to subtract 7 from his time. That would so totally be a waste of my time. I will always just ask “how high” when he says “Leah, jump”.

BACK TO THE STORY

Canada is a very beautiful country. You should come and visit us. I have lived in Victoria BC, Vancouver BC, Peterborough ON, Omeeme ON, Toronto, ON, Moncton NB (current). However, I have had to attend training and workshops in Calgary AB, Ottawa ON, Montreal QC, Halifax NS, Saint John, NB, Fredericton, NB and Charlottentown PEI.

Our family lives on an expansive property in a village called Scoudouc. It is located between Moncton and Shediac. We have 40 acres of land. Only 2 acres are cleared and the 38 remaining acres are all forest. We have Maple Trees and we tap and make Maple Syrup every Spring. We use wood from our forest to heat up our home every winter.

Living in Moncton is like living in Bududa while working in Kampala minus the traffic. Our traffic gets heavy like maybe being stuck in it for only 30 minutes. Toronto was a different animal. I used to be stuck in traffic for 2.5hrs. So much wasted time. Coming to Moncton, working in Moncton when you only live a 30min drive away was totally a God sent gift.

*** Next time, I will tell you of my experience in USA. Have a great week. Much love from Canada via a #BududaLandslides survivor.
