Dear HE PM Justin Trudeau

What is going on in Uganda ought to concern every Canadian Tax Payer. Your government is bank rolling a killer regime.  This is not my first letter to you.  I have written to your office many times.

Today, I write to you about the vanishing opposition members.  President Yoweri Museveni declared Kampala as a Militarized zone.  This came after #Arua which I had written to you about when 33 opposition members were brutally arrested, tortured and some are yet to heal.  That was on the occasion of one Artist Bobi Wine (Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi).

Bobi Wine is only I think 37yrs old.  He is a musician who sings mostly reggae about the suffering of Ugandans.

Since last year, followers of Bobi (coined #PeoplePower) are youth being kidnapped, shot dead, arrested, tortured and maimed by the regime you PM Justin Trudeau funds.

The most recent events of this week have not been good.  Kids are vanishing day and night and the Museveni’s security organs are not shy of displaying on live media what they are doing with these young people who are only yearning for change.

This week, a young Musician who is a govt critic in his songs was really beat up.  Here is the video.

You see, if you do not stand up for justice, our kids will ask us why we did not talk when their people were being killed.

The money your govt sends to Uganda to facilitate killings could be given to our kids in Canada for tuition so they do not graduate from University with exorbitant student loans.

If you look at the Canadian interest in Uganda, it is mostly our small exchange for Venture companies which are in Uganda.

For example, Cobalt 2 is a VSX company with shares trading in cents OTB.

Why not Barrick Gold which is in negotiations with the government of Tanzania.  Barrick trades on the TSE and NYSE.  Barrick was slapped with USD $190bln for tax evasion.

We currently have SNC – Lavalin for paying bribes in Libya to get contracts.  This one is actually bringing down your government.

It would then be preposterous for you to think that Canadian small companies in Uganda justify Canada funding a rogue regime.

The current Uganda regime needs to be shut off from money.  We need to start with Canada.  After all, we have to face the NAFTA with Mexico and the aggression against Mexico.
