Police has uprooted a three acre farm of marijuana in Bulwanyi, Ssisa Subcounty,Wakiso District. Two suspected cultivators are already in custody. The two suspects arrested are Umar Ssentongo aged 28 years, Hakim Kibwiika aged 35 yrs believed to be involved in the cultivation of the illicit drugs and are being questioned at Bulwanyi Police Post. UGANDA: Makerere University to stop providing food to students

KAMPALA (DAILY MONITOR) – Makerere University authorities have unanimously voted to stop providing meals in the halls of residence effective June this year. The position was reached at a recent council meeting where a report from the Finance and Planning Committee of the University Council presented findings of the survey conducted among students.
